How to lease
a Commercial Solar System
We offer the option of leasing for our commercial clients where we provide a 30% deposit with up to a 2 years lease option. At the end of the lease you can purchase the system for USD $100. This option works well for most businesses as they use the monthly savings on their light bill to pay most if not all of their monthly lease payment. We try to make the monthly lease payment close to or less than savings that the system provides once the weather permits.
- Step 1 We need to know if the property that the solar energy system is going to be installed is owned by the client or if it is rented, if it is owned then we can move right ahead however if it is rented then we need a letter from the landlord signed by a JP authorizing you to install a solar system on the property.
- Step 2 We need to get a copy of your last electricity bill, this can give us an understanding of what your energy usage is and what size system is suitable for your location.
- Step 3 We need to come in and do an energy audit. We charge a fee for this audit and it allows us to get a better idea of what your energy usage is at different periods of the day. It also allows us to know what materials is required to do the installation, where to do the installation of the panels on the outside and the inverter, control box and battery on the inside.
- Step 4 We will provide a written quotation which will indicate the cost of the system, the materials needed, when the system can be installed, photo outlay of the area to do the installation. This quotation will also indicate the deposit amount and the monthly lease payment and the tenure of the lease.
- Step 5 Once you have agreed to the deposit, monthly payment and the terms of the installation we will send a lease contract to be signed by the client and POWERPOINT.
- Step 6 We will require a deposit along with a signed standing order from your bank to transfer the monthly lease payment to POWERPOINT’s bank account.
- Step 7 Installation of the solar energy system
